Payment

As of Fall 2023, tuition fees will be differentiated depending on your country of origin and your attachment to Norway.

Students from the EU/EEA and Switzerland, as well as those eligible for loans and stipends through Lånekassen, must pay the tuition fees listed below in addition to the semester fee. These fees are adjusted annually.

Requirements for non-EU/EEA/Switzerland students who may qualify for EU/EEA tuition fees:

  • Permanent residence permit, residence permit in Norway due to strong human considerations or special connection to the kingdom, is married to a Norwegian citizen and both live in Norway, or are a family member of an EEA citizen who has another grounds for residence in Norway than education.
  • Have had continuous full-time work in Norway for at least 24 months with residence permit as an employee, been resident in and paid tax to Norway.
  • Have lived in and been in education in Norway for at least 36 months, and completed corresponding to 3 years of full-time education, without recieving public support for education.

If you are not a student from EU, EEA or Switzerland, you are instead required to pay the full tuition labeled below as "English full-time outside EU/EEA".

Please notify studieveileder@fjellhaug.no if you require a reduced invoice as a part-time student. You should also expect expenses for textbooks and a computer if you do not already have one. Additionally, there may be travel costs to your internship site.

If you pay the semester fee to another institution, you can apply for an exemption from the semester fee. Notify studieveileder@fjellhaug.no if this is the case.

Payment from Abroad

If you are paying from a bank that is not Norwegian, you must ensure that you transfer enough to cover fees in both banks handling the transaction.

Fees in our bank as of 01.03.2025

  • Transfer up to NOK 2,000 – fee NOK 50
  • Transfer over NOK 2,000 – fee NOK 100

Example: If you need to pay NOK 3,675, you should enter NOK 3,775 as the transaction amount.
