Login Canvas

The learning platform Canvas consists of a range of simple tools for online learning and collaboration. These tools cover functionality in the following areas: personal work, learning, publishing, and administration. All information about your courses, including lecture notes and teaching plans, can be found on Canvas.

Canvas requires Feide login. If you need help to activate or change your Feide password, click here.

If you are already a Feide user and want to access the Canvas login page, click here.

Please note: If you are a student at FiH and do not have access to the course "Studieinformasjon" (Study Information) on Canvas, please inform your academic advisor at studieveileder@fjellhaug.no.

Mobile App

We recommend downloading the Canvas mobile app, called Canvas Student, available for both iOS and Android. You can search for and download it for free from Google Play or the App Store.

Canvas has also developed a separate app for instructors, Canvas Teacher, which is also available on both platforms. Android and iOS.


Help

Canvas provides a wealth of documentation and guides that explain what you can do in Canvas.

To change the language in Canvas, follow these steps. Please note that this change cannot be made in the app, so you must use a web browser to make this adjustment:

  1. Start by logging into Canvas. Click on "Konto (Account)" and then "Innstillinger (Settings)."

2. Click the "Rediger innstillinger (Edit Settings)" button on the right side of the page.

3. Choose your preferred language.

To manage email notifications from Canvas, follow these steps. Please note that this change cannot be made in the app, so you must use a web browser:

  1. Start by logging into Canvas.
  2. Click on "Konto (Account)" and then "Varslinger (Notifications)."

3. In the Notifications section, you will see a list of all the types of notifications that Canvas can send and which email addresses are associated with this account. Each notification can have specific settings for each email address and item, and the notification frequency can be set to one of four options:

a. Notify me right away

b. Daily summary

c. Weekly summary

d. Notifications off
